Emilia Food Love USA
Last updated: November 7, 2026
Effective date: November 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how EMILIA FOOD LOVE USA LLC ("Emilia Food Love", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit us.emiliafood.love (the "Site"), use the Emilia Food Love USA app for iPhone and Android (the "App"), share a post on foodlove.shop, buy from us or contact us (together, the "Services").

We bring food from small Italian producers to customers in the United States. Your orders are prepared and shipped from Italy, so some of your information travels with your order.

If your post on foodlove.shop is about an order from our European store, the privacy policy of our European store, run by 4 FOOD S.R.L., applies instead of this one.

1. Who we are

EMILIA FOOD LOVE USA LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste 9299, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Email: info@emiliafoodlove.us

We are responsible for your personal information. Our affiliate 4 FOOD S.R.L. (Via Mazzini 18/1, 42020 Quattro Castella (RE), Italy) selects the products, prepares and ships your orders from Italy and runs our customer care on our behalf.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses.
Orders: what you buy, gift messages, discount codes, store credit and gift cards. When you send a gift card, we collect the recipient's name and email address to deliver it.
Payments: handled by the payment providers shown at checkout. We do not receive your full card number.
Messages and reviews: what you write to us and the reviews you publish about our products.
Marketing preferences: whether you agreed to receive emails, text messages or push notifications.
Community posts: if you share your table with the community ("Share your table") in the App or on foodlove.shop, the photos, video and caption you send, the product shown and the name displayed with your post. On foodlove.shop we check your email address and order number against your order.

Information collected automatically

Site: browser, device, IP address, pages and products you view, your cart and how you reached the Site, through cookies, pixels and similar technologies (section 6).
App activity: how you use the App, including screens and products viewed, searches, video viewing, likes, saves, shares, cart activity, checkout, purchases and notification opens. If you are signed in, this activity is linked to your account.
Device information: device model, operating system, App version, language, an identifier generated by the App, and your approximate city and state derived from your IP address. Advertising identifiers are explained in section 6.
Push token: if you turn on notifications, a token that lets us send them. We store it with your email address.
Crash reports: technical reports when the App closes unexpectedly, not linked to your name or email address.

What stays on your phone. The "For you" feed learns from what you watch, like, save and add to your cart, and this learning stays on your device, together with your saved items and likes (except likes on community posts, which we store to show the real count). The App activity described above is separate: we do receive it.

The App does not use your precise location or contacts, and only accesses the photos or videos you choose to share.

Information from others: carriers (shipment status), payment providers (payment confirmation and fraud prevention), review platforms, and advertising and social media partners (how our ads perform).

3. How we use your information

To sell and deliver your orders, including import into the United States, and keep you informed about delivery.
To run your account: sign-in, orders, addresses, reorders, store credit and gift cards.
To communicate with you, including marketing emails, texts or push notifications if you agreed to receive them.
To improve the Services: understand what works, fix bugs and crashes, plan our selection.
To advertise and measure our ads (section 6).
To run the community (below).
To prevent fraud, keep the Services secure and comply with the law, including tax records and food import filings.

Community ("Share your table")

We review every post before it appears. Approved posts are public to people who use the App and are shown with your first name, the initial of your last name and the city of your shipping address; you can change the name before sending.
When you send a post, you allow us to use it, with your caption and displayed name, in the App, on our websites, in emails, ads and social media. We stop using it in new marketing when you delete it or ask us to.
Approved posts may receive a thank-you discount code.
We remove location and camera data (such as GPS and EXIF) from photos and videos before saving them.
The full rules (moderation, permission to use your post, thank-you code) are in the Share your table terms, linked before you send a post.
You can report a post or block its author ("Report and block"). We keep your block list with your account and never tell the person you blocked.
Posts are kept in private storage until approved. You can delete them at any time in the App (You); deleting your account deletes them too. We then remove them from the App and our websites, stop using them in new marketing and, on request, remove them from our social media. Copies already published by others may remain until they remove them.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with:

Service providers that act on our behalf and process it under our instructions: our online store and checkout platform, payment providers, email, text and push notification providers, cloud hosting (including our own data warehouse), analytics, customer support, rewards, product search and reviews, artificial intelligence tools we use to analyze data, shipping software and carriers, and accounting providers. Some business partners, such as our store platform for certain services and our advertising partners, also process information for their own purposes, as explained in their privacy notices.
Customs and import authorities: to import your order, we, our customs broker and the carrier file the documents required by law, including the FDA Prior Notice and the commercial invoice, with the recipient's name, address and the contents of the box. They go to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Our affiliate 4 FOOD S.R.L., which prepares and ships your orders and helps with customer care.
Advertising and social media partners, as explained in section 6.
Others when required: to comply with the law, protect rights and safety, or in a sale or reorganization of our business.

5. Where your information is processed

Your information is processed in the United States, in Italy and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

6. Cookies, advertising and your choices about them

On the Site we and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep your cart, remember your preferences, measure traffic and show relevant ads. We also send information about visits and purchases to advertising partners from our servers.

In the App our own service sends events such as app opens, product views, searches, cart activity, checkout and purchases to advertising and social media partners, to measure and improve our ads. The App also contains analytics software (Google's Firebase Analytics), which we use to measure the App and our ads. We do not send your name, address, phone number or location to advertising partners.

iPhone. The App asks for your permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

If you choose "Allow", events are sent with your device's advertising identifier and, when you are signed in, your email address and customer number in hashed form (converted with a one-way function; hashed data is not necessarily anonymous).
If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", events are sent only with the identifier generated by the App, marked as not permitted for tracking. We do not send your advertising identifier, email address or customer number, and we do not use your activity for tracking.
You can change your choice in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Android. Events are sent with the identifier generated by the App, your device's advertising ID and, when you are signed in, your email address and customer number in hashed form. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Opting out of targeted advertising. Some U.S. state laws treat this use of your information as "targeted advertising", "sale" or "sharing". You can opt out at any time:

by emailing info@emiliafoodlove.us. You don't need an account: tell us the email address you use with us. As soon as possible, and within 15 business days, we stop sending activity linked to that email address to advertising partners and remove it from our advertising audiences;
on the Site, with the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of every page. Your choice applies to that browser; to opt out everywhere, email us as described above.

If you use the App without an account, you can also choose "Ask App Not to Track" on iPhone, or reset or delete your advertising ID on Android. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, but parts of the Site, such as the cart, may stop working.

7. Your choices and rights

Marketing: unsubscribe from any email; reply STOP to any text (message and data rates may apply; consent to texts is not a condition of purchase); turn off push notifications in your phone settings or in the App (You → Order notifications).
Account details: view and update them on the Site or in the App.
Community posts: delete them in the App (You) or by email, and withdraw your permission to use them in marketing.
Delete your account: in the App, You → Delete account, or email info@emiliafoodlove.us. We delete your account and the personal information linked to it, including your posts and your account activity, within 30 days and confirm by email. We keep only what the law requires, such as invoices and import documents. Orders already on their way are still delivered.

Depending on the state where you live, you may also have the right to know what information we have about you and receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. Email info@emiliafoodlove.us. For requests to know, correct or delete, we verify your identity, for example by matching the email address of your account, and reply within 45 days. Requests to opt out do not need an account or verification (section 6). You may use an authorized agent. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer; if you are still not satisfied, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

California residents: for advertising, we share identifiers, app and internet activity and purchase information with advertising and social media partners; you can opt out as described in section 6. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep account information while your account is open; if you delete your account, we act as described in section 7. We keep order, invoice and import records as long as tax, accounting and customs laws require, and marketing data until you unsubscribe, plus the time needed to respect your choice. App activity and crash reports are kept for as long as we use them to run, measure and improve the Services, our selection and our ads, including comparisons across several years. Community posts, including posts we did not approve, are kept until you delete them or your account, or until we remove them.

9. Children

Our Services are for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information; if you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We protect your information with technical and organizational measures, such as encrypted connections and limited access. No system is completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, if the changes are significant, tell you by email or in the App.
