Acacia Honey
Coming Soon
- Robinia is a plant that grows quickly and has strong roots. It can help the ground stabilise and reduce the risk of landslides. In some ancient cultures, it symbolised eternity due to the hardness of its wood. Yet, the most delicate, clear and light-scented honey comes right from the candid flowers of such a strong tree.
Acacia honey is a versatile ingredient that sweetens without altering flavours. Plus, it’s a natural antibacterial. It gives energy and is rich in vitamins, proteins and mineral salts. An ally for sportspeople! But it’s also delicious in a cup of tea enjoyed on the sofa.
We produce our acacia honey on the hills of Reggio Emilia using traditional artisan methods. We don’t use treatments that may compromise its nutritional and organoleptic properties.
Replace sugar with our acacia honey in your recipes. Enjoy it by the spoon or pair it with strong cheese. -

Apricots and Almonds Jam

Legend tells us that apricot trees were just an ornamental plant intended to be cut down for its wood, like any other tree that couldn’t produce fruits. One day, a young girl, who was very fond of the plant, cried so much for an entire night under its branches that fruits – the ones we now call apricots – started growing from her tears.
Another legend, a Greek one, tells us the story of Acamas, who was forced to leave his beloved Phyllis to fight in the Trojan War. Phyllis waited for him for ten long years, but then, resigned at the thought that he would never return, she died of a broken heart. However, the goddess Athena, moved by this love story, turned Phyllis’ remains into a wonderful almond tree. When Acamas finally returned to her, he embraced the tree, which started blooming with wonderful white flowers.
Apricot Almond jam is the epitome of poetry and warm seasons. Apricots are a typical summer fruit and almonds are seeds of a tree whose blooms symbolise the end of the winter season.
They are nourishing foods with multiple beneficial properties and they share legendary origins. But what is legendary is also the taste that comes about from their pairing.
This jam is perfect with cheese, bread, or as a filling for unforgettable pies. -

Chestnut Honey
Coming Soon
- Honey has always been an important food. It has fed numerous populations and written pages of history. Egyptians, Sumerians, Greeks, Romans and Babylonians told legends and found new methods for using this ingredient, which Virgil defined as “the heavenly gift of dew”. Today, we say “sweet as honey”. However, sweetness is not the only adjective that defines this multi-faceted nectar.
Like in the case of chestnut honey, for example, which is everything but sweet. Its bitter and tannic taste goes perfectly with an array of cheeses from Caciotta to seasoned goat cheese, Asiago, Parmigiano Reggiano, semi-seasoned pecorino, Fossa and ricotta.
Our chestnut honey is recognisable for its dark brown colour and intense taste and is produced only in Emilia Romagna. A nourishing artisanal product, ideal for those who don’t have a sweet tooth but appreciate unmistakable and unforgettable flavours and aromas. -

This is a story which addresses all those times when you couldn't stand someone and then, ten years later, you find yourself meeting, marrying or developing a lasting friendship with them. It is story which reminds you of when you were very young and your mother would make you eat a dish or food you disliked which has since become your favourite.
For the uninitiated, compotes have absolutely nothing to do with cheeses and cured meats; they are alien and far off worlds, perhaps eyed with a touch of suspicion.
To appreciate their goodness just think back to your childhood, or those first dates, when you put rationality to one side and just followed your gut instincts, closed your eyes and took a leap into the dark.
The truth is that no cheese or cured meat is complete without an ingredient which brings out its flavours. Make way for chutney, compote, jam and jelly.
Onion and Orange Chutney with mature cheese is simply a must.
Pepper and Strawberry Compote is a highly original combination, perfect served with more delicate, fresh, medium - mature cheeses.
Pear in Balsamic Vinegar Compote is unforgettable with Parmigiano Reggiano as with all aged, strong flavoured cheeses. The sweetness of pears with vinegar and complex flavours of a fine cheese is a match made in heaven.
Tomato Chutney is a sure bet: its pleasantly acidic flavour goes with a vast array of cheeses, charcuterie products and meats. Looking for inspiration? Try it as a sauce for bread rolls or bruschette.
How many times have we met a married couple for the first time and thought that they didn’t have anything in common? Yet they still prove to have a happy and solid marriage.

Pumpkin is a panacea and a delicacy, from its peel to its seeds. However, we might have underestimated it, especially when we were younger. We tended to eye it suspiciously until the day we actually tasted and fell in love with it.
This is what will happen the first time you try our compote. It pairs perfectly with aged cheeses, like Parmigiano Reggiano, and it can be your best ally for your culinary creations.
Yellow pumpkin, sugar and lemon juice enriched with cinnamon and Disaronno Amaretto. A unique and surprising combination to be enjoyed with a slice of bread and chocolate. -

Erbazzone Grissini
$10.90 USD
-
Simple like bread but inventive as there’s a new way of enjoying them. At the very beginning, making breadsticks was no easy task. It took much more than just the skilful hands of the baker to make good Grissini. The Stiror used to pull the dough, the Tajor was in charge of cutting it, the Coureur was the one who baked them, and the Gavor had the honour of taking them out of the oven. The result of such an effort was as natural as it was delicious. Who hasn’t munched breadsticks at a restaurant while chatting with friends, waiting for the meal to arrive? That’s why our Grissini deserve to be the star of your table. We make and pull them one by one to wow you with their traditional and unique taste, perfect for any occasion.
Erbazzone Grissini
Erbazzone is a savoury tart made with herbs. In the old days, this dish was referred to with a dialect expression scarpasòun (from a part of the chard called scarpa, i.e. shoe).

You can enjoy them alone for a unique happy hour or a delicious snack. Recipe for a relaxing evening: Erbazzone grissini, the sofa and your favourite TV series. -

1. The fresh sweetness of pear combined with the rich yet bitter taste of chocolate has always been a classic duo, even if we probably don’t remember the first time that we enjoyed the pleasure of such a unique pairing. Maybe it was during our childhood.
The taste has been with us since then and we’ll never tire of it because every nuance is so balanced.
The chocolate and pear jam, enriched with orange and lemon juice notes and a spicy touch of cinnamon, is so delicious you can enjoy it every day with simple or more complex combinations (sweet or savoury) or by the spoonful for those exquisitely relaxing moments at home.
3. The word strudel means “vortex” in German, just like the shape of this famous dessert that has a long-standing and romantic history. It's said that strudel dough should be so paper-thin that a love letter could be read through it.
Strudel has always been the crowning jewel of South Tyrolean cuisine. It’s very much appreciated and baked in kitchens all over Italy.
Now you can enjoy it every day by simply dipping a spoon into a jar of this very special jam. The raisin and pine nut aromas, the unmistakable cinnamon notes, and the delicate touch of lemon juice result in a warm and autumnal taste you’ll enjoy all year long.
Spread it on bread, use it as pie filling, or make some surprisingly delicious pairings with savoury dishes.
4. In ancient times, walnuts were only for the Imperial court and were displayed as a symbol of wealth. It was believed that rubbing together and rotating two walnuts in your hand would clear away worries and was beneficial to your joints and blood flow as it would purify your whole body.
Today in China, many collectors spend anywhere from a small amount to a large fortune in order to get their hands on the most precious walnuts for their collections. These are just a few fun facts about this famous fruit that has an intense yet delicate flavour.
The jam that pairs walnuts with the most popular citrus fruit is a sensory discovery that brings together two strong personalities.
The result is a unique, balanced taste that is rich in nuances.
Enjoy a spoonful, spread it on a slice of toasted bread, or use it as the main ingredient for your desserts. Oh, and don’t forget to try it with cheese. Your taste buds will thank you.
5. Figs, especially dried figs, have always been synonymous with simplicity and moderation. Once a symbol of peasant food, now they are acknowledged as a precious ingredient. Figs ripen in the summer and autumn.
They evoke walks in the shade of their tree branches, or the warmth of a blanket in front of a fireplace. But when mixed with pears, figs acquire another magical power: they can be enjoyed every day of the year.
Our pear and fig jam is enriched with lemon juice, orange juice and orange zest. The right amount of sugar gives it a balanced taste.
Perfect if you want to start your day, take a break in the afternoon or end your evening with a touch of sweetness.
6. In Greek mythology, Ares tricked Adonis and killed him because he was jealous that Aphrodite was in love with Adonis. As Aphrodite cried with grief, beautiful plants started to grow from her tears, their fruit shaped like a red heart.
Since ancient times, strawberries have symbolised passion, but when they are paired with chocolate, the temptation becomes irresistible.
Our jam, with no added pectin, has strawberries and dark chocolate (70%) and is blended with sugar and lemon juice to achieve a perfect balance.
You can enjoy a spoonful or use your imagination to create new recipes. Perfect for celebrating special moments, but also for a touch of everyday romance. -

Linden Honey
Coming Soon
- It appears that there’s a linden tree in the UK that is over two thousand years old. If only we could sit under its heart-shaped leaves and listen to all the stories it has to tell!
We harvest our honey from the flower nectar of these long-living trees that collect stories and traditions. Linden trees add elegance to avenues and gardens. In ancient times, people used to hang talismans on their branches to be protected.
The honey we harvest can protect us against inflammation and digestive problems. It’s an ally for the heart and blood circulation and an excellent natural sedative. Its intense and fresh scent is similar to that of mint. It’s also balsamic and has a citrus note and a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
Try it with your favourite herbal tea or pair it with cheese. And why not, use it in the kitchen as your secret ingredient.

Olive oil Grissini
From humble homes to royal palaces, no one can resist grissini. The legend says that Napoleon established a courier service for what he called les petits bâtons, to be sure he was never left without. Whether you eat them for breakfast, a snack, before or after dinner, our olive oil Grissini can be enjoyed any time of the day.
Wrap them in a slice of PDO Parma ham for a delicious, traditional snack or pair them with fresh, hard cheese, onion compote or our sweet jams, such as pear and fig jam -

Onion Grissini
In the Middle Ages, onions were so important that people would pay their rent with them or give them as gifts. Luckily, today, we can enjoy them whenever we want as they are in abundance.
We associate bread and onions with the simplest thing possible. However, how can you resist them? Serve our onion Grissini with a tuna mousse.
But remember: one leads to another, so make sure you have enough stock in the house. -

Paradise Wildflower Honey

- The branches of the ailanthus tree have small heart-shaped spots. They are scars that remain, one for each fallen leaf. This tree is known as the "Tree of Heaven" because of its ability to reach great heights.
The sound of its name is also heavenly, just like the taste of the honey that comes from it. The honey's aroma is reminiscent of fig milk, muscat grapes and peaches. It is a true nectar, with its various shades of amber. It is sure to be enjoyed by people who love enveloping and fruity flavours.
Our Paradise wildflower honey brings together many different flavours in harmony. You can enjoy it simply by the spoonful, but don't forget to add it to fresh cheeses like ricotta as well. We also suggest trying our honey with fruit salads or fruit gelato, for a touch of heavenly sweetness every day. -

Simply a legend. And like all legends, Parmigiano Reggiano has a history of seamlessly blended truth and myth.
It is an extremely ancient cheese which has been made in the same way at least since the Middle Ages. It is described in the writing of the great Italian poets of the 14th century. Giovanni Boccaccio cited it in his most famous work, The Decameron, in which he imagines "a mountain of grated Parmigiano cheese, on top of which there were people who did nothing but make maccheroni and ravioli and cook them in capon broth and then roll them down so that he who got the most had the most".
Cooks, gourmands and intellectuals spoke of it. Full-blown declarations of love can be found scattered over time, up to the twentieth century. For example, the writer, Giovannino Guareschi, who seems to have understood everything, not just about Parmigiano, but also about our land itself: “If you observe the texture of Parmigiano under a very strong magnifying glass, it is revealed to be not just an unchanging mass of granules linked together into cheese but a panorama. It is an aerial photograph of Emilia taken from a height similar to that of the Eternal Father".
The ageing process is crucial, as this is when Parmigiano changes character and transforms into that unique, universally coveted cheese. The minimum ageing process foresees 12 months but we sell 18, 24 and 36 month selections.
At 18 months, Parmigiano exudes youthful aromas with fresh fruit, grass, flower and milk nuances.
After 24 months its aromas intensify and culminate in a perfect balance of sweet and savoury; a more pronounced crumbliness highlights the cheese's characteristic grain.
At 36 months and beyond, this crumbliness is further accentuated, accompanied by spicier flavours, where fresh fruit aromas give way to more intense dried fruit nuances. -
